Leading in Changing Times
Leading in Changing Times: Managing Behaviour While Meeting Psychological Hazard Responsibilities
Duration: 1 Day
Why Leaders Need to Act Differently in Changing Times
Workplace pressure is increasing.
Rising costs, fuel pressures, and economic uncertainty are forcing many organisations to make difficult decisions — including reducing hours, restructuring, or downsizing.
These decisions carry risk.
Handled poorly, they can lead to:
- Unfair dismissal claims
- Bullying and harassment accusations
- Loss of key staff
- Increased costs and financial impact on the organisation
Traditional approaches are no longer enough to protect your leaders, manage risk, or maintain performance.
Leaders are now expected to:
- Manage change clearly and fairly
- Communicate difficult decisions respectfully
- Maintain safe and respectful workplaces
- Manage situations within the scope of the law
This is where many organisations get caught.
Often not through intent — but because leaders haven’t been given the skills to manage pressure, address bad behaviour, and communicate effectively.
This practical and highly interactive 1-day course equips leaders with the tools to lead through challenging conditions — reducing risk, maintaining performance, and supporting their people.
Why This Matters for Your Organisation
Training your leaders is not an added cost.
It is an investment in reducing the real costs that impact your bottom line every day:
- Avoiding the hidden costs of conflict, disruption, and disengagement
- Reducing the cost of staff turnover and replacement
- Maintaining productivity and performance under pressure
- Reducing exposure to legal claims and workplace risk
